Terre Joie Wines
Terre Joie is fully owned by the family of Joe H Saade, a former advertising professional who believes Lebanon can definitely produce elegant world class wines. Our southern latitude can be compensated by altitude, and this has led us to plant vineyards as high as 1400 m above sea level.
Our wine-making philosophy is based on only two words: Elegance of taste and Uncompromising quality. We started planting vineyards in 2008 in Qanafar, West Bekaa. The domain now consists of 10 hectares, mostly fully owned, out of which 7.5 hectares are planted and treated organically.
Varietals planted are: Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah, Cinsault (30 years old), Cabernet Sauvignon (28 years old), Sauvignon Blanc. Our 2017 current volume of production is around 15000 bottles annually.
