Mont d'Almaz Chateau 2018
Description and tasting notes
Chateau Mont d’Almaz 2018, a rich blend of Cabernet sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot aged in new oak barrels. The nose is spicy with red fruits in the background. The attack on the palate is ample with lively tannins that are round and long at the end. This young wine is very promising.
Chateau Mont d'Almaz 2008 was awarded ” the coup de coeur ” in 2008 by Zawak the well-known Lebanese wine guide. The Jury identified it as "a very good wine in a style that is easy to like for its elegance and poise. The nose combines fruits and vanilla-type aromas, showing subtle use of barrel ageing to frame the cassis style of fruit. This impression of juiciness is confirmed on the palate, accompanied all long by reminders of vanilla. The flavors are fresh and lingering."
