Cave Kouroum Syrah Cabernet is a collaboration from the highest finest new commercial vintage of Syrah and Cabernet. It has undergone a broad maceration period with classical fermentation process. It has been stored for 16 month in low toast new French oak barrels. It has a nice garnet color, with a nose dominated by the Syrah. It has a fine red fruity, very mature nose which evolves during the shaking to smoky notes. It is discreet with much delicacy, freshness with white peach and a touch of tobacco. The mouth is supple, round, structured, balanced, with nice tannins. It has a potential to be tracked during aging. It is distinctive wine of complex structure. This wine is highly aromatic and full of immature tannins that make it savory. It was regarded as one of the 16 most distinguished wines globally by the jurors at Citadelle de Vin where it won the Gold Medal in 2007 and 2011. Cave Kouroum Syrah Cabernet can be accompanied with delicate pasta, poultry, and spicy meats.
