Coteaux du Liban Cinsault selection 2021
Description and tasting notes
Coteaux du Liban Cinsault is made from old Cinsault “goblets” (bush vines), grown on the clay-limestone slopes of the village of Kefraya at an altitude of 1050m. These old vines produce small yields, therefore giving concentrated and aromatic grapes. The wine has a medium ruby colour with a nose expressing aromas of cherries, raspberries and blackcurrant with subtle notes of forest floor (sous-bois). The palate reveals fine and soft tannins with a beautiful finish. This wine is perfect for the “aperitif and also to be paired with chorizo, duck breast or grilled prime rib.
