Chateau Kefraya Adeenne Red 2020
Description and tasting notes
Wine with a ruddy color, clear, limpid and brilliant, with slightly silvery reflections.
The first nose, fresh and very spicy, arouses curiosity about these 2 indigenous Lebanese red grape varieties. The nose is more in the register of incense, Damascus rose and redcurrant. Allowed to breathe, the delicate nose offers notes of zaatar (Lebanese thyme)
and menthol, intertwined with notes of clove and leather. The unusual nose is an invitation to discovery.
The attack is creamy. On the palate, the wine surprises and offers a beautiful balance and complexity in an aromatic palette built between spice and floral. The notes of curry, cloves and rose petals are supported by a spicy framework of pepper and ginger. The tension of the wine on the palate gives it a particularly distinctive character on a very unusual aromatic palette.
